jaipur_in_processYesterday, I managed to finish the front of Jaipur, and using a short row shoulder treatment, I joined the stepped shoulders front and back with a three-needle bind-off.  Short-rows make the step more of an elegant slope and eliminates the holes at the row changes I would get if I tried to do a three needle bind-off with shaped shoulders.  I would have to rip it all out and re-bind off and seam like a respectable knitter.  I had read about this application of short-rows in a class description from the upcomingTKGA Conference in Manchester, so I thought that I would try it here.

I am awaiting my registration information from the TKGA hoping for admission to the Friday July 23rd classes I requested, but I’ll be happy just to go.  Is anyone else going to be there?
