Jill and Carolyn of Yarns in the Farms in Beverly, Massachusetts have invited me to do a little coaching at their shop, in the form of a Knit Along series for Kate Gilbert's gorgeous Wisteria Sweater, and we have Kate's gracious permission to talk about her design while she's not there. You may remember that this sweater was something Kate dreamt up in response to a wish I expressed, so in a way, I served as her muse.

I think a knit along for this sweater is a good chance for the cable-timid or the sweater-reluctant to get some support, and to watch the magic happen live and in person. We'll talk about cabling without a needle (maybe even try it),increase and decrease techniques, knitting from the top down, and various other little things as they pop up. The class will be Sundays starting in October, and you can find the specifics and register on the Yarns in the Farms website.  I hope to see you there!
