Baby Knits and Chevrons

September came on fast for me this year, and not a moment too soon. I finished the baby sweater and added a hat to make it a complete ensemble. The lovely little boy arrived soon thereafter and I think he will fit the sweater by the end of October, so all is well.

Meanwhile, I continue to work on the Sibley Sweater, trying to simplify the instructions to make the chevrons rounds more user friendly. I’ve had a few knitters run through the instructions, and gotten feedback from two technical editors, so I am confident finally that it’s as user friendly as can be. I’d love for it to be ready this fall, but I am going to knit one final version as a shop sample for my local LYS, Knit Tuck and Purl, just to make sure all of the details are in place.
